At age six, his father gave him a compass, which fascinated him and sparked his curiosity. He attended Luitpold Gymnasium Munich for high school.
2. Einstein worked at the Swiss Patent Office in Zurich, Switzerland, where he examined patents for people's inventions.
3. The year 1905 was remarkable for Einstein because he published three outstanding papers: one on the photoelectric law, one exploring the relation of mass to energy (his most famous), and one on the Special Theory of Relativity.
4. Einstein’s major work includes developing the general theory of relativity, which is one of the two pillars of modern physics. His work also significantly influenced the philosophy of science.
