6. Kinetic energy is the energy that an object possesses due to its motion which depends on its mass and velocity.
7. A hot object has thermal energy while light energy is the energy gained from objects that emit light. The sun is the main source of heat and light energy on Earth.
8. Sound energy which travels in waves is produced by vibrating objects. It can only travel through matter but not in a vacuum.
9. Chemical energy is the energy stored in foods, fuels and other chemical substances while electrical energy is the energy produced by the movement of electrons in the form of electric current which is then converted into other forms of energy to do work.
10. Nuclear energy is the energy stored in the nucleus of an atom which is also known as atomic energy. There are two types of nuclear reaction including fission and fusion.
