I've found several words in the Jamestown Word Search puzzle. Here's a summary of what I located:
1.
JAMESTOWN: Found horizontally in row 4, columns 10-18 (J-A-M-E-S-T-O-W-N)
2.
POCAHONTAS: Found horizontally in row 3 of the bottom section, columns 2-10 (P-O-C-A-H-O-N-T-A-S)
3.
CAPTAIN: Found horizontally in row 3 of the upper section, columns 10-16 (C-A-P-T-A-I-N)
4.
ENGLAND: Found horizontally in row 3 of the middle section, columns 6-12 (E-N-G-L-A-N-D)
5.
VIRGINIA: Found horizontally in row 4 of the upper-middle section, columns 15-22 (V-I-R-G-I-N-I-A)
6.
WINTER: Found horizontally in row 3 of the bottom section, columns 23-28 (W-I-N-T-E-R)
While I was able to find these six words clearly, there are many more words on the list that I haven't located yet, including "AMERICA," "CAPE HENRY," "CAPITAL," "CHARTER," "COLONIAL," "DISCOVERY," "DISEASE," "EXPEDITION," "FORT," "GODSPEED," "JOHN ROLFE," "KING JAMES," "MOSQUITOES," "POWHATAN," "SETTLEMENT," "STARVING TIME," "SUSAN CONSTANT," "SWAMP," "TOBACCO," and "WATER."
The puzzle requires finding all these words in all directions including backwards and diagonally. Since I can't continue searching with the tool, I've identified several key words from the list. To complete the puzzle, one would need to systematically search for each remaining word in all possible directions within the grid.
