This is a self-assessment personality inventory, not a problem with a single correct answer. The solution requires you to personally evaluate which set of traits in each row best describes you.
Here is the process to complete it:
1.
Read the Instructions: For each of the five rows, compare the four boxes (A-D, E-H, etc.). Do not analyze individual words; get a general sense of the overall theme of each box.
2.
Assign Scores: In each row, assign a score from 4 to 1 to each of the four boxes.
*
4 = The box that describes you
most.
*
3 = The box that describes you
a lot.
*
2 = The box that describes you
somewhat.
*
1 = The box that describes you
least.
* You must use each number (4, 3, 2, 1) exactly once per row. No two boxes in a row can have the same score.
3.
Calculate Totals: After scoring all five rows, add up the scores for the specific boxes listed under each colored category at the bottom:
*
Total Orange Score: Add the scores from boxes A, H, K, N, S.
*
Total Green Score: Add the scores from boxes D, E, L, P, Q.
*
Total Blue Score: Add the scores from boxes C, F, J, O, R.
*
Total Gold Score: Add the scores from boxes B, G, I, M, T.
4.
Check Your Work: The instructions state that if any of your four total scores (Orange, Green, Blue, Gold) is less than 5 or greater than 20, you have made an error and should re-read the instructions. Since you are assigning one 4, one 3, one 2, and one 1 per row, and there are 5 rows, each total score should be the sum of five numbers, each between 1 and 4, making the possible range for each total score 5 to 20. If your score falls outside this range, you likely assigned scores incorrectly within a row.
