Here are sample answers to help you fill out your Earth Day worksheet. You can use these ideas or write your own thoughts!
What do you like about Earth?
I like that Earth has beautiful nature, like green forests, blue oceans, and tall mountains. I also like that we have animals to watch and play with, and the weather lets us go outside and have fun.
What do you thank the Earth for?
I thank the Earth for giving us clean air to breathe and fresh water to drink. I am also thankful for the soil that grows our food, like fruits and vegetables, so we can stay healthy and strong.
What is adversely affecting the planet?
Throwing trash on the ground (littering) and using too much plastic hurts the planet. Also, cutting down too many trees and leaving lights or electronics on when we don't need them wastes energy and harms nature.
In what ways you can help the planet?
I can help by recycling paper, plastic, and glass instead of throwing them away. I can also save water by turning off the tap while brushing my teeth and planting flowers or trees to help the air stay clean.
Your favorite place on Earth...
My favorite place is the local park near my house because it has big shady trees and a playground. It is a quiet place where I can read a book or run around with my friends.
