1. Jack and his mother were very poor. She told Jack to take their only cow to the market and sell it. On the way to the market he met a man. He wanted to buy the cow and offered to give Jack five magic beans for it. Jack took the beans and gave the cow to the man.
2. When Jack’s mother saw the beans, she got very angry and threw them out of the window. Jack was very sad and he went to sleep without dinner. When he woke up, he saw a huge beanstalk outside. He climbed up and reached a kingdom up in the sky.
3. There lived a giant and his wife. Jack wanted some food from his wife and she gave him some milk and bread. When he was eating, the giant came home. Jack was terrified. He hid himself inside. Then he saw the giant take out sacks of gold.
4. After some days, Jack climbed and went to the giant’s castle for the third time. He asked for some food from the wife again. She gave him some bread and milk. But while Jack was eating, the giant came home. This time the giant took out a magical harp.
5. When the giant fell asleep, Jack took the magical harp and he was about to leave. Suddenly, the magic harp began shouting and woke his master up. The giant saw Jack with the harp and ran after him. Fortunately, Jack was too fast for him.
6. While he was eating, the giant returned. Jack got scared and hid under the bed. The giant took out a hen that laid golden eggs. When the giant fell asleep, Jack took the hen and climbed down the beanstalk. Jack’s mother was very happy with him.
7. Jack climbed down the beanstalk and reached home. The giant followed him down. Jack quickly ran inside and took an axe. He chopped down the beanstalk. The giant fell and died. Jack and his mother were very rich and they live happily ever after.
8. When the giant fell asleep, Jack took the gold sacks and went back home. His mother was very happy when she saw the gold. After sometime, he climbed up the beanstalk again and asked for some food from the giant’s wife again.
