- anther: The part of a stamen that contains pollen.

- bud: The beginning of a flower or leaf, where all the parts are compacted tightly together, ready to unfold.
- filament: A thin stalk inside a flower that supports the anther.
- pistil: The part of a plant that is designed not to be carried through a dispersal method to another location and turns into another plant.
- flower: A colorful segment of a flower, designed to protect the reproductive parts of the plant and to attract insects for pollination.
