- Start with a square piece of paper, colored side up.
- Fold it in half diagonally to form a triangle, then unfold.
- Fold it in half diagonally the other way, then unfold. You should have an X crease.
- Flip the paper over so the white side is up.
- Fold the paper in half horizontally, crease well, and unfold.
- Fold the paper in half vertically, crease well, and unfold. You should now have a plus sign (+) crease on this side.
- Bring the left and right edges to the center vertical crease to form a kite base. The top point should be at the top, and the bottom point should be at the bottom.
- Take the top layer of the right flap and fold it upwards along the diagonal edge to create one ear.
- Repeat with the top layer of the left flap to create the second ear.
- Fold the bottom point (the body) upwards, tucking it behind the head section to secure it.
- Draw or add facial features like eyes, a nose, and a mouth to complete the origami bunny.
