This is a "cut and paste" craft activity. There is no single right or wrong answer like in math, but here is the best way to put the grasshopper together:
1.
Cut out all the shapes carefully along the black lines.
2.
Body: Use the large oval shape as the main body.
3.
Head: Glue the circle with the black dot (the eye) onto the top left of the body. You can also add the small curved antenna shape above the head if you like.
4.
Legs:
* Take the two big "L" shaped pieces. These are the strong back legs for jumping. Glue them to the bottom/back of the body.
* Use the smaller curved strips for the front legs near the head.
5.
Wings: Glue the large leaf-shaped piece on top of the body to look like a wing.
6.
Tail/End: Glue the small pointed shape at the very back end of the body.
Have fun making your grasshopper!
