This is a "Roll and Read" game. You don't solve it like a math problem with one right answer. Instead, you play it! Here is how to do the homework:
Step 1: Get Ready
You need one six-sided die (the cube with dots) and a pencil.
Step 2: Roll and Read
1.
Roll the die. Look at how many dots are on top.
2.
Find the matching row on the chart that has the same number of dots.
3.
Read the sentence in that row out loud.
* *Example:* If you roll a
1, read: "Tim and Sam can mix it up."
* *Example:* If you roll a
5, read: "Take the mix and fix it quick!"
Step 3: Tally It!
Every time you read a sentence, look at the bottom part of the page called
"tally it!"
1. Find the box under the die picture that matches your roll.
2. Make a tally mark in that box. A tally mark looks like this:

3. Keep rolling, reading, and making marks until your teacher says stop or until you fill up the page.
